The places I go and the people I meet influence my work as far as images produced. I weave in and out utilizing conventional tools and the not so conventional tools to produce texture and direct light. I like dynamic and expressive painting producing both action and subtle effects. I utilize simple physics to produce the effects on the surfaces of various canvases and substrates of all kinds. Fire and heat add to my palette. Ordinary barometric pressure and air movement have fabulous effects in alcohol inks. I rather enjoy both the science of art and the beauty of it as well. I will always have an affinity for ceramics, glass and metal arts, simply love building fine utility items. It’s entertaining and restorative right along with the build.
